Judi Updates

Judi is continuing to improve and make great strides each day.

 

She has now moved to the rehabilitation floor at St. Mark's. She will remain there for the next two to three weeks and then will hopefully go home.

 

Physically, Judi has seen a lot of improvement. She can walk unassisted, ride an exercise bike, and even played a little soccer with Thayne. She is also able to feed herself and perform simple tasks.

 

She still struggles with her short-term memory, but her family is seeing steady progress. Just this morning, Judi was able to tell Mike where she was and why she was there without him having to tell her. This is a first!

 

The best news from the past few days is that Mike, and the other family members who spend time with Judi, really feel that Judi's personality is shining through. She is constantly asking about family members and expresses concern and love for them. It is so encouraging to see the elements of Judi's beautiful personality returning.
